And when you do speak, let your words be…
Honest…Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Ephesians 5:25
Few… A fool multiplies words, though no man knows what is to be, and who can tell him what will be after him. Ecclesiastes 10:14
Calm… Whoever restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding. Proverbs 17:27
Appropriate… Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
Remember what Jesus said about our words…
I tell you on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Matthew12:36-37
